(11.W.3.A. a) Read the paragraph. First on my list of favorite genres is historical fiction. History class always bored me with its endless lists of dates and events and important figures who accomplished important things. A good historical fiction novel, on the other hand, is transportation to the past. I can see historical settings and events through the eyes of characters who feel like real people. Although I know authors may alter facts to suit the needs of the story, this does not bother me. Which sentence best concludes the paragraph?
A) A good story, no matter the genre, is enough for me to become interested in its content.
B) I am content to get a general sense of historical events wrapped in an engaging story
C) Some readers, however, are obsessed with checking the story against the facts of history
D) After all, since historical fiction writers are considered experts, they can alter facts and no one minds. Eliminate
