Winter is caused by the axis of the Earth in that hemisphere being oriented away from the Sun.from skiing and snowboarding in the mountains to curling up by the fire and enjoying some hot chocolate, winter is the perfect time to get cozy and enjoy the beauty of the season. Whether you're traveling or enjoying holiday celebrations in your own hometown, there's never a shortage of things to do in the wintertime.Winter is good for the world around us. Many plants need shorter days and low temperatures to become dormant. This way plants can store up energy for new growth. ... In nature, we observe growth and development in living things, contrasted with the static or deteriorating state of the vast majority of that which is man-made. ...
