(2) Well, I can't really choose for you since its your opinion, but here: (Why) I agree with the author, because who wouldn't want a friend that loves you, and keeps you company? Plus, the reasons mentioned in the passage for having a dog are really cool! OR YOU CAN CHOOSE: (Why not) I don't agree with the author, because dogs aren't the only pets that loves you and keeps you company. For example, rabbits. They're cute animals that will also love you and keep you company. Rabbits don't need much room, and are clean most of the time. You can choose which one you want -v-

(3) A good title for this piece would be, 'Why we should have dogs as pets'

(4) The word companion means like a partner that stays with you and goes with you. (Evidence is in the text)
