1. There are essentially three types of parents. The first type of
parent acts like a consultant who provides loving and logical
guidance for his/her child. The second type of parent is called
the helicopter because this parent hovers over the child
constantly. The helicopter parent tries to protect the child by
making all decisions, implying that the child is not capable of
handling any responsibility. The last type of parent is the drill
sergeant who commands and directs the life of the child. This
parent makes a lot of demands and tells the child how he
should handle responsibility.​

Explanation:

Enumeration is a text-type that provides a list of items with equal importance, organized through bullet points or numbers. The items don´t have to necessarily be listed as first, second, and third, any list of facts is an enumeration. It should not be confused with classification, which links related items with similar features. Furthermore, since there is no notion of time in the list, the text cannot be considered as a Chronological Organization type of text.

1. read the following excerpt from franklin d. roosevelt's "fireside chat 19":

on the other side of the picture, we must learn also to know that guerilla warfare against the germans in, let us say serbia or norway, us; that a successful russian offensive against the germans us; and that british successes on land or sea in any part of the world strengthen our hands.

remember always that germany and italy, regardless of any formal declaration of war, consider themselves at war with the united states at this moment just as much as they consider themselves at war with britain or russia. and germany puts all the other republics of the americas into the same category of enemies. the people of our sister republics of this hemisphere can be honored by that fact.  

the true goal we seek is far above and beyond the ugly field of battle. when we resort to force, as now we must, we are determined that this force shall be directed toward ultimate good as well as against immediate evil. we americans are not destroyers — we are builders.

it is the background information on the characters and setting explained at the beginning of the story. the exposition will often have information about events that happened before the story began. the exposition is often the very first part of the plot.
