What does Anne mean when she writes on page 46: "I feel that spring is coming. I feel it in my whole body and soul. I feel utterly confused. I am longing . . . so longing . . . for everything . . . for friends . . . for someoneto talk to . . . someone who understands . . . someone young, who feels as I do . . ." ? What does spring represent?

Anne wants someone that she is able to express herself and a freind that understand and feels what she's going through. Spring represents happiness and brightness. I've never read this book so I hope I'm right
