Task 2 Print
Preparing and Delivering a Presentation
Now that you've sketched out the content of your presentation, it's time to put all its parts together and practice presenting
them. Decide on a format for your presentation. For example, you could use presentation software. Or maybe you'll speak and
provide handouts for your audience.
Part A
Now, it's time to create a presentation based on the sources, outline, and media elements you gathered in Task 1.
Develop a 5- to 10-minute presentation by following these steps:
1. Using a presentation software program or other available presentation tools, put all the elements of your
presentation together in the order that you will discuss them.
2. Create a script of any text you will record or present in person.
3. Create a separate document that clearly indicates when you will show each media element, such as images, text, or
videos.
4. Practice delivering your presentation in front of a practice audience, such as friends or family members. As you
practice, follow these guidelines for delivering a good presentation
5. Ask your practice audience members for suggestions to improve your presentation. Then, make adjustments and
deliver your presentation again.
After you've completed these steps, describe your process for creating practicing, and revising your presentation.
