Need some suggestion in English writing I am writing about horror movies and I am trying to say good acting creates fear in the environment in the movie. can i say that create that horror fears ambient that the audience wants, does it make sense or what how should is say?

The actors/actresses abilities in a horror movie tends to create a more fearful environment for the audience. They use their skills to esculate the intended fear factor.
