introduction: making sacrifices for others make an everyday person a hero. in the novel to kill a mockingbird by harper lee there are many examples of an every day hero. a hero is a person also known for hope and justice for the world.
my teacher said "it's not that the characters are already heroic, but that they make sacrifices for that is why they are considered heroic in the end."
