In order to reduce the stress caused by my most difficult class, earth science, I created a Test Success Strategy. The first step in my strategy
is my 15-minute nightly cram. Every evening I spend 15 minutes
reviewing the day's notes. I read them aloud, rewrite them, or draw
pictures that reflect the material. Two days before a test, I complete
the online practice test. This helps me identify the information I need
to study a little more. The night before the test, I review my notes
several times by reading them aloud. Finally, on test days, I eat a brain-
boosting breakfast like blueberry oatmeal. Once the teacher places the
test in front of me, I take a deep breath and stay confident that my hard
work will help me do my best.
