Hamlet is a great example of portraying disobediance, lying, and a great way to sho life lessons.  In Hamlet there are multiple areas that show how dishonesty and disobediance can affect not only you but others, for example when "(starting here you can put this as #1. for your evidence) Rosencrantz and Guildenstern leave the room, and Claudius orders Gertrude to leave as well, after hearing him say that he aswell as Polonius had the intention to spy on Hamlet’s confrontation with Ophelia". Right there is 1 small example of how Hamlets "dishonesty" affected him and the trust with others.  Now bc of all Hamlet has been through and how dis obediant he was he has over whelming stress. "(you can put this on #2) Hamlet enters,speaking thoughtfully and agonizingly to himself about the question of whether to commit sui.cide to end the pain of experience: "“To be, or not to be: that is the question”"  Hamlet had kept lying --- "In mid-thought, Hamlet sees Ophelia walking over to him. Having received her orders from Polonius, she tells him that she wishes to return the tokens of love that he gave her. Angrily, Hamlet denies having given her anything; he laments the dishonesty of beauty, and claims both to have loved Ophelia once and never to have loved her at all." Hamlet had given her tokens of loved but had lied and pleaded that he had not. Parents don't just say things to speak, our parents have been in this world longer than we have, and therefor they have seen, witnessed, or been through things.  Yes, we should listen to our parents, they have made mistakes and learned lessons from them, some mistakes may have even been costly, they try and prevent us from making th same mistakes they did!

at half past twelve i stole softly down stairs. i stopped on the second floor, thinking i heard a noise. i felt my way down into the parlor, and looked out of the window. the night was so intensely dark that i could see nothing. i raised the window very softly and jumped out. large drops of rain were falling, and the darkness bewildered me. i dropped on my knees, and breathed a short prayer to god for guidance and protection. i groped my way to the road, and rushed towards the town with almost lightning speed.
