100 POINTS AND BRAINLIST PLZ HELP PROJECT: EVENTS AND TRENDS
For this project, you will examine a historical event or trend that you learned about in this unit.

OBJECTIVES
Analyze a historical event or trend to identify the setting; sequence of events; cause and effect; and the people involved.
Create an episode pattern organizer.
All historical events must be studied in the context of time and space. Much information can be gathered by examining a sequence of events and the setting in which those events took place.

It is also important to consider the cause and effect of historical events or trends. This helps us to compare similar episodes and assess their impact on history.

Most importantly, we must study the people who were involved in the historical events or trends. Remember, history did not just happen. It was actively created by the people who lived it.

Once this information has been collected, it can be organized in a graphic such as the one pictured below. This is called an episode pattern organizer. It can be useful to create these graphics as you continue to learn about historical events and trends in world history.

When you have completed this project, you will have learned that:

There is a cause and effect for every historical event or trend.
A sequence of events occurs in every episode.
People are involved in history.
Directions
Create an episode pattern organizer for any of the historical events or trends that you have learned about in this unit.
