Going to school helps you gain more knowledge about the world and the career(s) you may want to go into. You might earn more money in a job that requires more schooling than if you were a High school drop out. Many teenagers don't see the importance in going to school and reading more, learning new words and sounding more interested. Today many people want to do things easier and smarter, not harder. This is why the law requires you to go to school until you're 18, so you can be educated and have the opportunities that others (drop outs) may not.
