Draft:
Robert Frost, an American poet who lived from 1874–1963, is most well known for his depictions of everyday people doing normal things and facing life–changing decisions. Frost, who lived most of his life in rural settings, wrote many poems about nature and about the American landscape.
While he was first published in a weekly literary magazine in 1894, Frost's career had a slow start because many American publishers turned him down early in his career. His luck changed, though, after he lived in England for several years starting in 1912. When he was there, many publishers embraced his work and, because of that, he was popular when he returned to the U. S. when World War I broke out. Publishers that had previously turned him down welcomed him back and his career hit its stride.
Frost's career earned him many awards and honors throughout his lifetime.
