Answer the question by supporting the 2 fables: "The lion's court": The lesson that can be drawn from this fable is valid even in our time. It is a lesson in wisdom and prudence. You have to know how to measure your words and actions. It's better to say things that people want to hear. La Fontaine means that certain qualities can turn into flaws, such as sincerity. We must therefore know how to adapt to the situation.

"The Lion, the Wolf and the Fox": This fable refers to society, more precisely to the court of Louis XIV, where the king is represented by the lion and the courtiers by the wolf and the fox.
The lesson of this fable is a criticism of the courtiers of the court "Messieurs les courtiers" (verses 35 to 40) and we find it explicitly at the end of the apologue, from verses 35 to 40. Because it shows us that evil returns to us more easily and quickly than one might think. In other words, we should not dishonestly use it on anyone to get noticed. In the courtyard, the courtiers are ready to do anything to please the king and think only of their own.

Question: You would present the collection orally, quote the title of two fables that you think are still relevant today.
Justify your opinion.
