Scott Fitzgerald’s novel, The Great Gatsby chapter 3, he adds a final scene that shows a car crash due to a drunk driver. (3) The reckless behavior of the upper class is highlighted in this scene. (4) Plus in addition to that, it serves as a reminder that the guests’ wild actions do have consequences. (5) All night, they are behaving wildly, but it is all brought to an end when people start fighting and crying.
