April 23, 2013 There are so many opportunities to make a difference in another person’s life. As life gets busy, we tend to lose sight of what’s important, like giving back to the community. Here are some ideas to participate in public service. Local soup kitchens and food pantries are always looking for volunteers. There are also many nursing homes that welcome volunteers. Additionally, many nonprofit businesses, like the YMCA, offer opportunities for people to donate their time. Sometimes getting friends involved can make the experience even more meaningful. Get involved today; it’s never too late!
