Choose the correct preposition from the underlined choices. One Saturday evening, Jade had missed a turn on her way to a friend's house. She had
only been driving for a couple of months and was still a little nervous sitting in/on
the driver's seat. Moreover, driving at/in the winter was harder because of all the
snow on the road.
After Jade turned around, she noticed a giant moose in/on the middle of the road.
She stopped at/on a stop sign and then waited for him to move out of the way.
However, the moose just lie in/on the pavement. Jade was supposed to meet her
friend at/on 6:00, but it seemed like the moose had other plans.
Jade honked her horn, and tried yelling at the moose from her car, but the moose
wouldn't budge. Suddenly, as Jade was about to give up, the moose stood up,
snorted, and trotted into the forest. Relieved, Jade finished driving to her friend's
house. At/On Monday, the two friends told their teacher all about the moose.
