Scream

To you my scream sounds like a distant whisper
Others might hear thunder from a roaring storm
Some might think it is the wind howling
Very few will hear my scream for what it truly is
It is a call to those who know
It is a hope of escaping
Escaping the dark room in which I am trapped
Will anyone ever hear my scream
Will anyone ever help me escape
I hope someone does before it is to late
