Third one is here "They were banging on the wall nonstop. It was very hard to get rid of them." She looked super disgusted in the face. Everything just wasn't right with this starting of the new morning. We headed back inside to cleanup hoping Rick would come back... but, he never showed. An hour passes by and I'm still watching his car out there just staring right at it next to mine. His was way more antique than mine. Mine was a Subaru outback. The 97 style Yeah it was ugly but at least it can still go when I needed it to. Roxxane's car was out there too. She had a nice car that her parents bought her when she got her driver's license when she turned seventeen. She had a BMW. I don't know which one because I was never really into cars like that but this one was pretty fast and shiny and beautiful. I always wanted to get my hands behind the wheel because if I took that beast on a cruise on this road, there would be no doubt in my head that I'm stopping. Anyways back to my real thoughts... We were just getting ready to close up the store after we go outside and shut the generator off for the diner. "Alright Roxanne, I'm gonna shut the generator off outside, you wanna lock up?" "Sure I have no problem doing that." "Alright then." I tossed her the keys and grabbed my keys and my hoodie. We both walked outside and as she was locking up I went behind the diner to turn off the generator. When I went back there though, I see something right next to the shed we had in the back. It was something laying there on the floor and it was black. It was hard to see though. It was dark from the cloud covering the bright moon at almost three in the morning. As I was walking over there it started to get into shape a little bit, like in the shape of a shoe? What was a shoe doing out here? When the cloud uncovered the moon I noticed it was Rick's shoe. "What the he-?" "Rick!" I heard Roxanne call Rick's name. "Roxanne?" I ran as fast as I could to Roxanne. I knew something wasn't right, because why would Rick's shoe be behind the diner? Then he shows up from out of nowhere? This was just a horror story. "Roxanne!" When I came around from the diner I see her and Rick there in the middle of the road. Roxanne looked like she was stalking her prey, but she was just getting ready to touch him on the back of his shoulders. He was looking the other way to where we couldn't see his face, but he was as stiff as a board. Not a single muscle moving on him. "ROXANNE!" "What?" She looks back at me like I just took her cheerios from her. "Do not touch him." I walk up behind Rick and notice that both of his shoes were missing. But where did the other one go? I couldn't have had to miss it. It would've been in plain sight from the night light in the sky. "Hey Rick, You alright?" As I walk in front of him his face was do. ped out. He was drooling and looked like a zombie in the face. "Rick?" I snapped my fingers in front of him but not a single movement. Not even a flinch. Not even a blink! Do you know how hard it is to not blink when somebody snaps their finger in your face? I learned because I had a lot of teachers snap their fingers in my face when I was day dreaming in class, anyways back to the story... He was sitting there like a statue. Drooling away he was but just staring at something. "Chap, is he alright?" Roxanne walks around to look at him as well and she got scared looking at his face. She got petrified. She started to tear up and started crying. "Roxanne are you alright? What happened?!" "We need to leave!" She said while sobbing. "Why what's wrong?" Suddenly Rick scares the living dead out of me because he opens his mouth and widens his eyes like he was shocked or suprised. "RICK!" Then it's like he starts to say something but can't because it sounded like he was on repeat on the same vowel sound. Just repeating it over and over again and in the mix of coughing. Roxanne scares me too when she grabbed my arm very tight. "WE HAVE TO LEAVE!" "We can't leave him here!" "He's de. ad Chap! He's not coming back to us!" She takes me with her in her car and starts it up and starts heading out onto the road. She's driving really fast and I get to witness what it's like driving her beautiful BMW. But why is she driving so fast? She never drives fast like this before? 90 mph? 100 mph? 115? She's crazy! "Roxanne slow down what is it?" "I've seen it before!"
