"Free and Easy" Jesse popped the engine to his car. Lefty peeked in to see an engine the size of an elephant. It roared and growled when Jesse hit the gas.
"It's the fastest thing on four wheels," Jesse said. "It's so fast, it'll make a cheetah weep."
"I've seen faster," Lefty said, teasing Jesse.
"You want to give it a test drive?" Jesse asked.
"You mean it?" Lefty responded.
"The keys are in the ignition."
Soon, Lefty was zooming down the freeway. The air cut through the window and hummed. Jesse was right, he thought to himself. This thing is quicker than a jack rabbit on a rocket. The echo of cars swooshed past him. He didn't even mind the heat. The humidity was hotter than the sun's teeth. All of it just faded away as he sped down the freeway.
