The day my brother was born.
my brother was born on a bright sunny day in mid may. me and my family were sitting in the waiting room for what felt like an eternity. when dad comes in, he looks at me and says, "the baby has been born." i was filled with joy.
on our way to the room, my cousin dylan looks at me and says, "i thought your mom was sick. turns our she is just having a baby." i laugh. when we go inside the room, i stare at the new tiny baby who would one day become my best friend.
i walk to the other side of the room, not taking my eyes off him. when everyone was done holding him, my dad picked him up, and put him in my arms. "i love you little brother." i whispered.
he opened his eyes. i awed. he hadnt opened his eyes for anyone till i had said something. by that time, my grandparents and i were ready to go home, and sleep so we could come back the next day. feedback is this a good highschool project? it sayd 3 to 5

"the trouble is," sighed the doctor, grasping her meaning intuitively, "that youth is given up to illusions. it seems to be a provision of nature; a decoy to secure mothers for the race. and nature takes no account of moral consequences, of arbitrary conditions which we create, and which we feel obliged to maintain at any cost." what larger idea is the doctor referring to when he says that nature takes no account of moral consequences? impulses often overrule a person’s sense of good and bad. nature forces women into motherhood. young people are prone to having delusions. morals play no role when we choose who we love.
