Okay so like were supposed to find Epic Similes from the Odyssey (5 epic similes. The student is expected to be able to find this specific element in the story and explain how the simile works within the story as well as how it affects the way the reader absorbs the content.) and i'm kinda confused at what epic similes are. Is this one "Neither reply nor pity came from him, but in one stride he clutched at my companions and caught two in his hands like squirming puppies to beat their brains out, spattering the floor."?
