This is to the people who run the website. I was trying to contact to you about this in your "Contact Us" section but it doesn't work. I know you probably cannot do anything about this, but my answer that I spent an hour working on helping someone was deleted for no reason. The question was an argumentative essay they had to write. I simply said that I could not write the whole essay for them because it would be wrong and not of any help to them. However I provided them with and outline, along with some ideas he could use for it. I explained how to write an argumentative essay in general aswell. I also provided him with a fact he could use in his essay that I found when researching. I did cite my sources also so that should not be the problem either. Please if you could contact me back about this I would greatly appreciate it because I worked so hard on the answer. Even if you could just give me what I wrote so that I could use it to help my friends out. I try my best to help as many people as possible and now this is all I will be thinking about all day. I just feel so disappointed. Please don't let my answer go to waste. I really wanted to help him. I feel like my answer could have helped him alot. I left a comment on his post apologizing and explaining how I did give him an answer but it got deleted. I was hoping that maybe he could have read it before it was deleted. Please contact me about this. Please let me help people to the best of my ability.

What is the effect of narrator's word choice on the tone of this passage? the words "my heart shrank within itself" create a fearful tone. the words "wounded his fellow" develop a remorseful tone. the words "struck harsh upon my ears" suggest an irritated tone. the words "better-omened" set a hopeful tone. excerpt from "the cabuliwallah" by rabindranath tagore i was sitting in my study, looking through the accounts, when some one entered, saluting respectfully, and stood before me. it was rahmun the cabuliwallah. at first i did not recognise him. he had no bag, nor the long hair, nor the same vigour that he used to have. but he smiled, and i knew him again. "when did you come, rahmun? " i asked him. "last evening," he said, "i was released from jail." the words struck harsh upon my ears. i had never before talked with one who had wounded his fellow, and my heart shrank within itself when i realised this; for i felt that the day would have been better-omened had he not turned up.
