Not looking for a whole answer with evidence... just looking for valid ideas for my answer? would be appreciated if you helped :)) What are the basic responsibilities and obligations of a parent toward their child? Do these responsibilities/obligations change as the child grows older? What should happen if a parent is not able to fulfill these?

a parent has more responsibility as the kid ages to be with them, help them emotionally, and fulfil their needs. if they're not fulfilled they are just a horrible parent and it depends what isn't fulfilled if it's emotionally that's already quite normal but if they can't fulfil basic needs like food, clothes (neglect on purpose) they already have child protective services
