Earths temperatures have steadily risen for many years. The increased heat can stem from natural causes, such as changes in radiation from the Sun, changes in the
Earth's orbit, or volcanic activity. However, global warming is a dire issue and is a
direct result of humans activity.
Humans can produce carbon dioxide, a gas that affects Earth's temperatures,
through activitys that use fossil fuels, like heating and cooling buildings.
Furthermore, carbon dioxide is also produced by burning fuels to power cars and
other modes of transportation.
The release of carbon dioxide in the air is what traps heat within the Earth. To solve
this problem, we should all try to reduce our use of fossil fuels. It is better for the
environment, for instance, if people carpool than drive their own vehicles-less gas
is use in the process.
