1. Dolphus Raymond revealed to Scout and Dill outside the courthouse that he is not really a drunk, he only pretends to be. This revelation makes them change their opinion of him from being an evil man to a good man.

Dolphus Raymond explained that he poses as a drunk because some people don't like the way he lives and will never understand it, so he pretends to be drunk all the time to give them a reason to dislike him. Dill finds this fascinating.

2. Raymond thinks that Scout and Dill can understand his secret better than adults because they are still young enough to recognize injustice done to black people and cry over it.

3.Raymond thinks that when Scout and Dill grow up they won't cry anymore over racism. He thinks that as they get older they will get used to the racism  around them, and even though they know its wrong they will recognize the fact that they can not do anything about it.

Explanation:

Dolphus Raymond invites Dill to have a drink to settle his stomach, Scout thinks he is evil but still follows Dill and him outside the courthouse.

After Dill took drink they discovered that it was nothing but coca-cola, and Raymond reveals to them that he only pretends to be drunk so that people people will leave him alone and think that he is only living the way he lives because he can't help it.

Raymond thinks that Dill and Scout can understand him better than adults and that's why he trusted them with his secret. But he also told them that as they grow older they will lose their innocence and some of their sympathy, they will recognize racism for what it is but they will also recognize that there isn't much they can do about it.

the message which is being conveyed is that if a person does not have the qualified skills to be an writer then he should not and if he becomes then just leave it away..
