I believe that if the Rosetta Stone had not been discovered, then ancient Egypt culture, written in hieroglyphic and demotic symbols, would have been lost for another 1,400 years. The riddle of the Rosetta Stone was truly a remarkable and enlightening key to unlocking the Egyptian past.
