Discuss why there is a need to cite source?

The reason needed for why we need to cite sources is when writing anything involving information that isn’t ours we need to credit the people who made the information possible to obtain , if we do not cite our sources it is considered plagiarism & meaning you stole the information from the sites you used or anywhere you could’ve gotten the Information from.
