I have a poem for you! Is it in correct format? Down in the darkness, I try to escape.
But always fail, a silent dreamscape.
Demons emerge whispering silent demands,
For which i have no reprimands.
Caught in a wake but barely awake
With a void that will never make.
Hoping to feel but always like steel
Is this the deal for me to be real?

A poem to describe my inability to feel empathy. I soon learned to deal with it by balancing out my thing with reason, common sense, and logic.
