Which character is the biggest hero in the outsiders novel and why? P. s I need 4 paragraphs in an hour

I believed Dally is the biggest hero. Though in the beginning of the book, we see him as a hard, cold guy with no remorse for anyone else, he undergoes some of the most character change throughout the novel. (Maybe second to randy) Dally is so real he scares Ponyboy. I believe Dally has been through more than we learned in the book, he’s seen more. We know he was in jail at 10. So, sure he seemed reckless, but I think that’s bound to happen with anyone who basically shuts their emotions off. He must’ve been through something extremely traumatic and let it get to him too much. He thought being tuff and feeling nothing was his bliss. But, he could only escape so much. I aspire to have the faith and loyalty in something that Johnny had in dally. He saw something in dally when there was no reason to. This was before we saw the true, gallant side of dally. Johnny saw that before everyone and never let up on it. Johnny was dally’s weak side. He saw him, he saw the way he looked up to him, he was always trying to protect him. Dally was a hero, in that, when the church was on fire and Johnny and Ponyboy jumped in to save the kids, he thought they were stupid for doing it, but he saved them. He jumped in to save Johnny and he tried to help Ponyboy when he was in bad shape. He clearly protected them by finding the church in Windrixville and giving them the means to get away. We also see his heroism at the rumble. He leaves the hospital, definitely not in any shape to leave, and goes to help his boys, his family. To me, when the book says that Johnny was the only thing Dally loved and it was gone, it made it seem like Dally didn’t love things enough, like there wasn’t enough love in his heart. However, I think the problem was that there was too much. I think he loved Johnny more than he knew how to handle. His love for Johnny, though it was the only thing he loved, was overwhelming. He loved him so much that when he was gone, dally didn’t know how to fill that void. Dally is a hero, the biggest hero. He wasn’t always a hero, and he didn’t do a bunch of flashy, “look at me I’m saving people left and right” things. They were small, little acts that shone a huge spotlight on his character, if only the reader can get past the hard, cold front he puts forth and focus on him, they will see he’s a hero too. Dally died gallant.
