Read the passage from "Things That Matter.” She parked a couple of blocks from the gym and began walking. The streets and sidewalks were almost clear of ice and snow, so she was moving pretty fast, still thinking and worrying. Then, she went around a drift of snow almost as tall as she was. A young man was coming from the other direction, carrying a music case. They ran into each other, and, because of the slippery sidewalk, both of them fell into the snow.

Now review the plot tracking chart.

A 3-column table with 1 row. Column 1 is labeled Beginning with entry Blank. Column 2 is labeled Middle with entry Blank. Column 3 is labeled End with entry Blank.

Which is an important detail from the passage that belongs in the "Middle” section of the chart?
Rae has to park blocks away from the gym.
There was a sidewalk beside the road.
Some of the snow drifts were really high.
