It’s not healthy to fear people it’s healthy to respect people though and follow that they say because they are your example

I feel like they should be “scared” enough in order to respect them. If they don’t respect them or see them as a “threat” then there will be no respect and children or employees or whatever will take advantage of the person that is suppose to be in charge. It will also cause there to be no boundaries which people need boundaries a some sort of respect. If they don’t “fear” them then there isn’t a real relationships. Now fear is a tricky word. Not the fear that we know like we fear death or we fear getting kidnapped but fear as in established authority. If a student or child or employer feels so fearful that they think their lives are in danger than that’s a different story
