SANTA CLARA, California (Achieve3000, April 25, 2019). Google offered 11-year-old Samaira Mehta a job after she finishes college. But the 5th grader from Silicon Valley, California, had to say no. It just didn't make sense for her to work for someone else—ever. Sorry, Google. Samaira, you see, is a computer whiz kid. And she's a business owner. She's also a go-getter. Samaira got going at a very young age. Her dad taught her computer coding at age 6! She learned how to use coding to create apps, websites, and software.

At age 8, Samaira created a board game. It teaches kids how to code. She called the game Coder Bunnyz. That's because the game has rabbit playing pieces. And, rabbits are Samaira's favorite animal.

Coder Bunnyz took off. It won second place in a ThinkTank Learning contest. And Cartoon Network put Samaira in a video about real-life superheroes.

Within a year, Samaira was in news stories around the world. Over $35,000 worth of Coder Bunnyz games sold on Amazon. And more than 300 schools and 240 libraries started using the game.

Soon, Samaira was teaching workshops about computers. She did this at Google, Microsoft, and other big companies.

Samaira has other big ideas. She and her kid brother, Aadit, started a program. It's called "Yes, 1 Billion Kids Can Code." The plan is to teach coding to one billion kids worldwide by 2030. Samaira believes these skills will help kids do well in life. It doesn't matter where they're from.

Samaira raises money on her website. She uses the money to send Coder Bunnyz to schools. Then she goes to workshops to teach kids how to play.

Samaira loves what she does. And she's just getting started. She created a new board game. It's called Coder Mindz. It seems Samaira has decoded the secret of success.

Read sentence 13 from the draft. some plants retain a great deal of their foliage through much of the spring and summer, but the leaves do not retain their green color for long. which detail would be best to add after sentence 13 to develop the topic? a. since the green color of the leaves that are bright and abundant during the warmer months will disappear by the time it is fall, it is important that the leaves are trimmed and kept freshly cut so that they will last for as long as possible. b. while the temperature outside may dictate when the fall colors of leaves appear, it is only one of many environmental factors that play a part in the changing of colors from green leaves to fall-colored leaves during the cooler months. c. if people want to enjoy the green color of leaves longer, trees should be planted where the environment is warmer and the days longer because chlorophyll in the leaves can only be manufactured and replaced with sunlight and warmth. d. the green chlorophyll normally masks the fall-colored pigments during the warmer months, but as sunlight becomes less abundant and trees become frozen, the fall colors of leaves become more visible as chlorophyll disappears.
