On November 19 1957 Ford produced a car called the Edsel. The Ford Motor Company claimed that the Edsel would be the best car of the decade but it actually turned out to be a complete failure. It was first introduced as a big luxurious car but many people described it as overhyped overpriced and unattractive. The Edsel often came with broken hinges buttons horns and a dead battery. Many of the cars sold were defective so buyers were left with an ugly dangerous car! The Ford Edsel officially went out of production on November 19 1959 only two years after it was introduced. It would be very rare to see someone driving the least successful car in Fredericksburg Virginia or anywhere else in America!
