A writer has the talent to compare his or her lyrics to a person suffering from the same issue. Let's take depression, it is proved that music can reduce depressive symptoms. A writer simply writes down their own thoughts and feelings but really those same emotions are felt by other people too. A Writer is never forward with their subject instead use different techniques to be subtle and make the readers or listeners to process the hidden or open message the writer expresses. Sometimes they write their own experience and try to convey that 'you are not alone' or 'you're going to make through it'

It feels comforting to realise that there are people out their, probably people you don't even know, fighting the same thing your battling. To know that they found victory, and mainly to know that you could find victory too.
