PLEASE HURRY, THIS IS DUE TODAY, BRAINLIEST AND 100 POINTS FOR WHOEVER ANSWERS FIRST It was awful cold when the Old Man hit me on the ribs with his elbow and said, "Get up, boy and fix that fire." The stars were still up, frosty in the sky, and wind was whistling around the corners of the tent. You could see the fire flicker just a little against the black of the swamp. Mr. Howard was asleep on the other side of me, snoring on his pine-needle bed. His mustache was moving like a March gras in the wind.

With great effort I walked out into the night. The only sounds were the crickets and the snoring from the other tent. Ther were two kinds of snores. One was squeaky. And the other one sounded like a bull caught in a bared wire fence. I knew the bull sound came from Pete.

The dialogue and actions of the old man show that he -

A. likes to be waited on.

B. is very friendly.

C. is concerned about people.

D. is very lonely most of the time.
