TPCAST is Title all you do is explain whet the titl meant to you. The P means to pharaphrase the poem, like what is the summery. C means to connotate the poem just write down the tone or mood the poem is giving you. A is the attitude how the poet is feeling like sad, happy, angry or all the above. S shift where in the poem does the poet shift his attitude or how he or she is expressing its self. Then go back to the titl and tell what it means after you have read the poem and made all the notes.
