Montmorency is a perfect nuisance in the extract "Packing". As we read, we came to know about the dog's innate sin of disobedience.His ambition in life is to get in the way and be sworn at. In the extract "Packing" when Harris and George were packing the hampers, Montmorency came and sat down on things, just when they were wanted to be packed.He laboured under the fix belief that whenever Harris or George reached out for anything, it was his cold damp nose that they wanted.He put his leg into the jam, worried the teaspoons and destroyed three lemons which the dog has considered as rats.
