Since this communication does not take much time from our busy schedule and only with a click we may know the whereabouts of important people in our life irrespective of time and place, it gives us a chance to hone our inherent virtue of being social. To elaborate it further, we can just ponder about the current situation we are going through which has put a restriction on our physical movement for everything including meeting people or going out for other necessities, leaving us only with one option which is virtual communication and we cannot imagine a day without knowing the wellbeing of our loved ones. As virtual communication demands less time, saved times can be used for increasing productivity. In a study conducted by Nicholas Bloom and Ctrip, a Chinese Travel website, employees who worked through an online platform for nine months were able to do 13.5% more work than those working in the office. The study was conducted among approximately 10,000 people. Hence it is evident that flexibility of time enhances productivity among people. In addition to that, virtual communication offers an excellent tool for documentation. It relies on software machine and internet which can malfunction at any time. To avail this benefit of virtual communication we just need to click a button and we get to record video or audio clips. Besides, we may access any text that we have received which is unlike face to face communication where wrongful word of mouth can be spread easily. That being the case, virtual means of communication has been proven more appealing in the business world in recent years. To put it briefly, the contemporary world has been altered through online platforms of communications and to keep pace with this we must harness the benefits that it offers. (edited)
