The last novel I read was called “Frankenstein.“ The genre of the novel was horror and I was able to know that because of the suspense in the novel. The word choice also indicated that the novel was in the horror genre. So, when trying to figure out what genre a book is, look for the word choice, setting, and even the peronality of the characters. And a tip for checking if a book is fiction or not you can think of what is going on in the book and if that would or would not happen in real life. I hope this helped!
