CNN conducted a survey which asked 2,400 drivers if their car or mobile device came pre-set with technological solutions to block some outgoing and incoming distractions. 55% of those drivers said they would leave it activated and on 23% of those drivers said they would deactivate those technologies. Although there are 23% that would deactivate the pre-set solution, that number could decrease, and distracted drivers wouldn’t be so distracted anymore. In conclusion, PSAs could stop the number of distracted incidents. Most people may not feel as though they are a distracted driver, but statistics may show otherwise. In 2015, the United Stated Department of Transportation shared that 3,477 people were killed because of those using devices while driving. The question is could it be stop? thank you
