In the Code Talker Ned was a navajos and he wanted to learn about white people culture, language, but I think Ned didn’t know how to speak in english, so I think he decided to become a code talker. In the poem it says, I catch the pattern of your silences before you speak, which means he didn’t know white’s people language to learn about them but he still was successful in his work. For example, Ned is a Navajo Indian who is very intelligent. He loves to study and would like to be a teacher when he grows up. Instead he is planning on fighting in the war. Ned becomes a Marine at age 16 and he becomes a Code Talker.
