If I became my English teacher for one day, I would do all things that would help my students rather than confuse them and I would also make sure to give them a stress-free day. For instance, there are copious amounts of grammatical rules that not usually acknowledged and most don't know about. I would sit there and teach my students these imperative rules so that they can come in handy one day in college or when they are writing their essays in higher classes. This way, the students are actually learning something beneficial and interesting, rather than just reading numerous passages/answering questions each day. Moreover, I would not assign them any homework so that they can take a break; many classes already assign way too much work for the children. By doing this, I would make my students actually want to come to class the next day, rather than stress out.
