Explanation:

Exaggeration/Hyperbole: This is an obvious over-amplification of claims or events for added effect. It is usually not taken literally. This is used to pass across a message to show the severity or consequence of something.

An example is " I was so hungry, i could swallow a horse".

This does not mean that the person can literally swallow a horse but just to show the extent of the hunger.

Humor: Humor is the quality of being comical or amusing usually to elicit laughter.

The example above, "What must you do before you get off a bus> Get on it".

This uses humor to show that one must first be on a bus before he can think of getting off and the question is constructed in a funny way.

Irony: This is the expression of one's feelings through the use of words that signify the opposite of what is really meant, usually for emphasis.

rudy is the nazi ideal, unfortunately for the nazis his ideal comes in the form of jesse the complete opposite of those who embrace the idea of white supremacy. over the course of the novel, rudy learns that he wants nothing to do with the hitler youth, and because of this his parents are forced to make a bargain; rudy's father is forced into the military, so that his son can remain home.   both liesel and hans influence that young man that rudy becomes. following han's example, rudy puts aside his own hunger to risk his life so that the jewish prisoners might have bread to eat.

normally working animals are domesticated and ruled by a master, a domesticator (tamer), to perform basic and important functions on a farm, for example. the value used in this context is animal labor in exchange for food. it is not so much a contrast to the story told by napoleon and the pigs, since the animals of that particular farm also performed functions on the farm through domestication. the only thing is that in this case, who rules them is a pig, also an animal, but very respected, to whom the other animals lent him submission. that's about a strong relationship of dependency between animal and owner.
