Construction of dams and hydroelectric power supply is one of such construction that has lead to disruption of natural habitat, loss of farmlands and vegetations, destruction of houses that are close by when flood occurs which the first immediate environment.

Many forest trees have been cut down for major construction, many lands have been cleared for construction of big companies increasing the amount of carbon dioxide and other gases in the atmosphere leading to global warming.
