1. According to page 8,They felf Alcatraz would be the perfect prison because they had tight security,was surrounded by waters which could drown people(which it has)and that it  has had  Al Capone even say its is a tough prison.

2.It facinates people today because they were never found,they could have drowned,if they did,they were never found and if they did succesfully escape they have been gone since June 11th 1962. And with 36 people failing to escape we wonder how could they escape and if they are alive,how did they do it?
