One similarity between the ways that the two authors use figurative language to create tone is that they both use imagery in order to entice the reader. Robert Frost uses words like "Her hardest hue to hold" to create a picture of what nature looks like in Spring, all to give a message to the reader that nature in Spring is beautiful. William Carlos Williams uses words like "glazed with rain water" to create a picture of what nature looks like in Spring but to give a message that nature during Spring is peaceful.

One difference between the ways that the two authors use figurative language to create tone is that the poem by Robert Frost uses metaphors but the poem by William Carlos Williams does not. Robert Frost compares the blooming of nature to gold by using a metaphor, as is shown by the line, "Nature's first green is gold." The message that the author gives to the reader by the metaphor is that nature is once again beautiful but also pure and glistening.

The tone in each poem differs because in "Nothing Gold Can Stay" Robert Frost uses figurative language to give a message to the reader that nature is beautiful while in "The Red Wheelbarrow" William Carlos Williams uses figurative language to give a message to the reader that nature is peaceful.

since i paid for overnight shipping, but did not receive the package in the time allotted, i am kindly asking for a refund. the product was just perfect, but i do not believe i should have to pay for a quick shipping if it came late.
