Anyone with a phone, which is the majority of the population, can freely view it. Save for a few communist countries like Russia and China, news is no longer limited to those who can afford it.There is a downside to this accessibility however, as it makes people more liable to misinformation if they rely on the news for information instead of doing their independent research. A majority of people are codependent on the news, so this is a problem that can easily be fixed if research is further implemented into the standard education system.
