Read the excerpt from Wonder by R. J. Palacio.

If I found a magic lamp and I could have one wish, I would wish that I had a normal face that no one ever noticed at all. I would wish that I could walk down the street without people seeing me and then doing that look-away thing.

Based on this excerpt, which inference can be made?

a. Many people own magic lamps where August lives.
b. August's physical problem affects his ability to walk.
c. The Invisible Man is August's favorite superhero.
d. People are troubled when they see August's face.
