There's a hook sentence?:
I knew that in a few weeks I should start school. At this moment I realized that one of my goals had been met. With a little nervousness and few words coming out of my mouth, not knowing what to expect next. I remembered when I entered first grade of high school.

This one is strange. A hook sentence is usually the first line. If you need to write a hook, I can do that too

Explanation:

For the hook I suggest saying something like..

I stopped cold where I stood, I only  have a couple weeks left!

That would help draw attention to the writing

she learned to understand that physical beauty wasn’t as important as being a good person.

d. the two authors are in awe of nature; their experiences, reveal that time in nature can change people.
